Unlike manuscript collections that are found in archives and used for formal historical research, “ephemera” are typically those printed odds and ends that were only supposed to last a short time: handbills, posters, tickets, and programs. Because they weren’t meant to be preserved, items that have survived are sometimes rare, if not unique, and add another, colorful dimension to the University’s past.
